New Year, New Clients

January is generally a time for reflection, with resolutions made and detoxes started. Here at BLISS, we can’t say we embarked on any detoxes (dry January just isn’t for us), or made any resolutions as such, but we did do some reflecting. The last couple of months have been a blur of client work, new staff members, cardboard boxes (see previous office move post), festivities, THAT Christmas party, etc., and it was only after a short break that we realised just how much we’d been doing, so here’s a (brief) recap:

We are delighted to announce we won a new client under the name of Anglian Garden and Building Supplies, as well as their sister company Paving Superstore. We are now managing their PPC budget and SEO campaigns, as well as their Social Media accounts. So far, we’ve really enjoyed working with them and are excited to see where the partnership takes us.

We have also had the pleasure of working with the well-known clothing site Boohoo, building them a mobile site ahead of the Christmas rush. As an entirely online business, they were interested in taking their collection and making it accessible on mobiles for a more efficient browsing experience, as well as wanting to expand their online portfolio.

We launched the mobile site just in time for Christmas and received great feedback from them, and their customers. We are currently in talks about the development of a new app centred around QR codes, with a few surprising features, - but we can’t say anymore! Keep your eyes peeled.

We started working with Hasbro, the American multinational toy and board game company, in September through to November. As one of the largest toy makers in the world, we were delighted to collaborate with them, bringing one of their much loved toys into the digital age. We developed an interactive app that we can’t say too much about at the moment, only that it’s on its way to you and you should be very excited.

We started working with Schwarzkopf last October on various things and have recently taken on a big project for them, which again, we’d love to talk about but is officially top secret. Schwarzkopf are one of the biggest hair cosmetics brands in the world, and have been at the top of their game for more than 100 years. Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait for more details but we will say it’s going to be great and you’ll lose many hours of your life playing with it.

As well as making our mark on the world of hair and beauty, we have been working on some Facebook apps for Legal & General, the British multinational financial services based in London. Their services range from life insurance, general insurance, pensions and investments, with operations across Europe and the United States. It’s been fantastic to work with such an influential company and we look forward to seeing what they do next.

And last but by no means least, we are delighted to be working with Out of the City, a stylish country clothing and footwear site, offering brands such as, Barbour, Hunter, Joules, and Dubarry. We have redesigned and built their new website, as well as made an impact on their marketing results, and are excited to announce it’s going live very soon. We are also working on the new website for their sister company Welly Warehouse, which is due for release later this year.

So, as you can probably tell, we have been rather busy, meaning we’ll hope you can excuse the lack of resolutions and dry patches (there’s always next year), we did however remember to do something—book our NAConf 2013 tickets. Hopefully you did too. See you all there!
