Going along for the ride

Carousel is an independent PR and Events agency based in Manchester and London. Besides clients that include Selfridges, Sea Life Manchester, and the Museum of Science and Industry, the agency has also worked with some of today’s most exciting UK music festivals.

We wanted to avoid the easy route of leaning too heavily on ‘carousel’ imagery. Instead we blended this motif, which defined their identity and corporate tone from the start, with a sharper, contemporary edge.

Their first website was launched when they were just finding their feet, and it very much reflected their youth and green-ness. Four years later, with a clearer vision and an established place as a premiere agency in the North West, it was time for a radical revamp. 

Carousel’s old website had dated very quickly in only a few years. Therefore we wanted to create something that was not simply modern, but would stand the test of time and accommodate their future growth. Carousel are very clued in to industry trends relevant to their creative clients. So as well as bringing in our expertise and conducting our own market research, we made sure we utilised their insights too. At BLISS, collaboration with clients is key to both strong working relationships and project success.

BLISS designed a website that balanced playfulness with professional integrity. We also established a flexible layout to accommodate the variable nature of their content, and it goes without saying that the site was fully responsive and CMS-editable.

The real value we added was creating a beautiful and stable web presence that mirrored Carousel’s core brand values and encouraged trust in both current and new clients.
